"The Good Time Gals" co-founded by Debbie Briggs and "Miss Myra" Burnette, in early 2020. Specializing in original music and unique arrangements of covers. The Gals pull influences from Americana, Blues, Vintage Jazz, Honky Tonk, Western Swing and more! A lot of folks classify The Good Time Gals as Country, but it is hard to put things into a singular box or genre... so, we don't! Instead, we Gals welcome inspiration from a broad collection of styles and try to not limit our sound to just one genre. This keeps things fresh and interesting for new and old fans alike. People appreciate how we make choices that serve the song and showcase our own talents and personality. The Good Time Gals music is further elevated by tight two part harmonies and bold compositions, rich vocals (Debbie Briggs), backed by killer guitar and co-vocalist (Miss Myra), sweeping fiddle (Alissa Jacobsen) and an inspired self contained rhythm section of cello bass and cajon (Beth Varela). All of this results in a distinctive, ear catching sound that will surely keep toes tapping and hearts humming along well after the show has ended.
